It’s official. Oysters and Ale will be this Friday at 5:30PM on Woodley Island. It will be sunny even after the sun goes down. Oysters and Ale has been postponed until next Friday. The tents are leaking and the storm is suppose to get worse. The Weather Service told us that the storm is gaining strength off shore and should be really bad this evening. The Party Place is afraid the tents might blow down and no one wants to take that chance. We’ll see you next Friday.
Mark Ritz along with Charlie Jordan are the owners of Kinetic Koffee Company, a gourmet micro roaster, located in Arcata, California. Last year, the oyster sauce made by Rick and Betty Littlefield, owners of Eureka Natural Foods, was a crowd favorite. This year they will again donate a variety of sauces for the oysters. At ENF they constantly strive to offer competitive prices and the widest variety of natural and organic foods. They have a wonderful deli with cooks like Hannah that make daily specials. I like to stop there on my way home and pick up the dinner special for the low, low price of $4.99. You can’t beat it for a quick, delicious, nutritious meal.
Rex Bohn and Bonnie Neely take time out of their busy schedules to make a promo for Oysters and Ale. They have found something on which they can agree. Both have been big supporters of The Humboldt Botanical Garden. Thank you, Rex and Bonnie.
