Evelyn and Debi discuss what to do. Note their hair. And the wind is just starting to blow.

Evelyn Giddings and Debi Farber look over the damage caused by the storm.
Oysters and Ale has been postponed until next Friday. The tents are leaking and the storm is suppose to get worse. The Weather Service told us that the storm is gaining strength off shore and should be really bad this evening. The Party Place is afraid the tents might blow down and no one wants to take that chance.
We’ll see you next Friday.

I was ready to party in the mud!
Sorry to hear that, Debi. It even looks like it might rain down here in Sacto.
In spite of the old Humboldt County adage, “If you aren’t willing to do it in the rain, you just might not do it,” for safety reasons it sounds like you made the right decision.
I was ready to party in the mud too. My understanding of Oysters is they live in the mud of Humboldt Bay. Lol Perfect for us to play in the mud. Wouldnt it be fun to have a bid mud bath! or mud wrestling!
Thanks all for your kind words….I too would love to party in the mud….but because of the high winds and storm cells…..we had to re-schedule - a very hard decission!!!!
Look for details in the next few days
“My understanding of Oysters is they live in the mud of Humboldt Bay.”.
Maybe the natural ones do, but the ones that are farmed are raised up away from the mud.
Man, now I won’t be able to go again! I have to go out of town next weekend!
