Rex and Bonnie

Rex Bohn and Bonnie Neely take time out of their busy schedules to make a promo for Oysters and Ale. They have found something on which they can agree. Both have been big supporters of The Humboldt Botanical Garden. Thank you, Rex and Bonnie.

Kitty, Barbara and Debi. We are the producers of Oysters and Ale. We are  ready to bring you another great event. This year’s proceeds go to The Humboldt Botanical Garden Foundation. HBGF is a great organization with over 700 members that is building a world class botanical garden. The garden is located on property adjacent to the College of the Redwoods. So come on out to Woodley Island on October 3rd and support the Garden. For those who don’t like oysters we will have sausages  or if you’re like me you can just have root beer floats for dinner. I figure three root beer floats equal one dinner.

She’s been busy lining up our talented beer tapsters and oyster shuckers: County Supervisors, Sheriff Gary Philp, the District Attorney, the Mayors of Eureka and Arcata, the Fabulous Minteys of Eureka, Todd Larsen, Michael Weiss, Bryan Plumley, Jessica Bigger, Alex Stillman and other stellar Humboldt County citizens.

Debi has also been lining up the best local beers and foods for Humboldt County’s funnest fundraiser which chooses a different beneficiary each year.

This year’s proceeds will go to the Humboldt Botanical Gardens Foundation.
